We are looking for a motivated individual with expereince in general building maintenance, project management, and supervising other facilities staff.
The Facilities Manager is part of the Employee Services team and works closely with all departments, contractors and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities General Description:
The Facilities Manager will provide management of District facilities and associated equipment.
Responsible for the planning and direction of construction and maintenance activities involving District-wide physical facilities and properties.
Experience, Working Conditions and Other Requirements Minimum
Qualifications:
Ten years of experience in general building maintenance which includes experience in project management, heating, cooling, ventilation, and air condition (HVAC) systems, electrical, plumbing, construction, maintenance, modification, installation, and repairs.
Five years of experience in supervising facilities maintenance staff including selection, evaluation, training, motivation, and safety.
Desirable
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited two-year program in a trade relevant to this position (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.
).
Bachelor's Degree in construction maintenance or similar field.
Five (5) years of experience in project management.
Work Environment:
The work environment conditions described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
Work is performed in the office Monday through Thursday 6:
30 am to 5:
00 pm.
Remote work is not available for this position.
Some duties may need to be performed in multiple types of weather conditions and outside areas.
Occasionally subject to irregular hours and callouts.
Must adhere to the District's residency requirement.
