JOB SUMMARY
Continuously exemplifies the mission, values and customer service philosophy of PeaceHealth in job performance and in relationships to others. Provides high quality customer service while performing a variety of tasks which may include serving food or coffee drinks, cashiering, washing dishes, cleanup, delivering meals, and filling nourishments and requisitions as assigned daily.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1.Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by greeting, serving and assisting customers.
2.Develop a mutual attitude of respect toward interactions with fellow workers through communication, understanding and conflict resolution; and assume responsibility for one's own actions.
3.Maintain cost effective practices:
oStay on schedule.
oWork quickly for maximum turnover of customers through the caf line.
oImprove efficiency wherever possible.
oMaintain proper portion control.
oReduce food waste: minimize over-producing and appropriately utilize leftovers.
oPractice suggestive selling.
oCorrective pricing as appropriate.
4.Maintain competency level:
oUnderstand functions of the position.
oKnow proper hygiene and sanitation techniques.
oAttend all department meetings and in-services.

oPractice proper equipment use.
oKnow products, contents and their proper usage.
5.Employ safe and economical food preparation practices.
